16-lane signal free expressway

Keeping in mind the growing traffic demand and the need for seamless connectivity, HUDA and DLF have jointly initiated the upgradation of ‘Ch. Raghvendra Singh road HUDA’- A world-class expressway that will connect the NH-8 and DLF Cyber City to DLF5 and beyond to Sector-55/56 Rotary.

The expressway, being jointly developed with HUDA, will be a 16-lane expressway with total length of approximately 10.5 km. This includes 8.3 km from DLF Gateway Tower at Cyber City to the Sector 55/56 Rotary and 2.2 km along the NH-8 from the Toll Plaza to DLF Square. The expressway will be completely signal-free with under-passes, flyovers and service lanes ensuring free-flowing traffic. This expressway will reduce the travel time on this stretch drastically, ensuring a hassle free driving experience and seamless connectivity. DLF has engaged AECOM, one of the world’s foremost engineering firms, to conduct scientific research of the traffic flow and to prepare the concept study. Parsons Brinckerhoff is the PMC for the project, while IL&FS is constructing the expressway using the latest technology available.

Keeping the rapid growth of the city in mind, the expressway has been designed to accommodate not only the current traffic levels, but also the projected traffic demand in the years to come.

Very importantly, the road will have a dedicated utilities corridor for telecom lines, electrical lines, sewerage etc. to facilitate maintenance without the need for digging and thus, reduce public inconvenience.

To add aesthetic appeal to functionality, the entire stretch would be beautifully landscaped.
